Met him in the Air Force 1967, he was a pilot and as we were passing in the dog run to the alert area, his co holler to him, 'hey, Dick". About that time I happened to see his name tag "HEAD". I just about lost it as I saluted him. His parents must have hated him to have named that. It's about as bad and perhaps worse than naming him Sue.

Billy Buck Belcher. It's just a ridiculous name, and when my daughter was in 3rd grade, she declared this person her boyfriend, and proclaimed that she would marry him. Later on in the year, he moved, and I jokingly thought "Well thank goodness, she won't be Mrs.Billy Buck Belcher!" ... this same exact question came up on a forum I used to visit, and I posted the story of my daughter and Billy Buck Belcher, thinking somebody would get a chuckle out of it ... well, all the responses I got were really cold, saying things like "I don't find that funny at all." I was really puzzled and as it turned out, unbeknownst to me, one of the forum moderator's last name in real life was Belcher! What the heck are the odds of that?! I ended up having to repeatedly apologize, but I still think "Billy Buck Belcher" is a ridiculous name.

it's a tie--
Kermit Roach
twins, a boy and a girl, named Male and Female (pronounced Mah-lee and Fah-mah-lee)
guess their parents couldn't be bothered with actual names, or thought the hospital had named them for them....
:o)
edit--i just read the other answers and judging from Sophia Z's apparently the unfortunate twins aren't alone!
