I agree that their is a huge double standard in this issue. But, unfortunately I think the problem is too far gone at this point. When any rational person wants to discuss the immigration crisis rationally, immediately the race card is used. It isn't a racial issue, it is an issue of common sense. If you want to come into this country do it LEGALLY just like my wife did. Let's not use racism as a means of getting what we want, because if this is done at its current rate then it will be just like the old story of, "The boy who cried wolf."

Excuse me .... I am an immigrant and a U.S. Citizen.
1) No one is forcing you to use any language. The fact that legislation requires a certain amount of government related text to be printed in multiple languages has a lot to do with information control and the fact that the populous of the US is divided into people of different origins. If everything is spoken and printed in one language you have people who have not learned the nation's language yet who receive partial information which can be dangerous at times so things are done like this for the good of the whole.
2) About the flag, it has a lot more to do with heritage. When we salute the flag we salute the country, but a flag to people who have had to leave their home in search of the rights that they should have been guaranteed by birth, represents the world that they left behind. Not everyone is born in the us but acourding to the Declaration of Independence "all men" not Americans are created equal and are born with inalienable rights one of them being the pursuit of happiness so according to this doctrine they have the right to pursue their happiness here.
3) I don't agree with Illegal immigration ... I came to this country with papers and through the right channels. I earned my rights through work and toil. So I do not condone illegal aliens having American rights but I do think that they should have the right to a fair immigration process.
4) You better be Native American. Cause if you are white your ancestors rode, flew, or sailed here. So that I was here first Attitude, is really annoying.

Lol...I hope you watched Tyra today. You know what this man told her...to go back to Africa. Hmmm.....Now, let's see what's wrong with this statement (similar to the one you've made). She was born in this country idiot...and if she has to go to Africa, then maybe you should go to England or wherever your ancestors came from. Are you forgetting that our families were all immigrants at one point??? So how are you going to come at them for doing what you're people have done years ago? Secondly, just because they walk around with a flag of another country doesn't mean they weren't born here either. I don't see you saying anything to Irish Americans who carry around an Irish flag knowing good and well they were born here! You need to go do some research because you're not making much sense and to be quite honest, you sound stupid.

I am OK with that as long as you are also sick of our guys parading around Iraq waving the American flag. And neither am I.
Didn't think so... which means that somewhere in the middle is the answer. I wish you luck -- illegal immigrants are definitely a problem, but I think maybe your frustration is getting in the way of a rational solution.
Good luck!

I think you're overreacting. You're comfortably at home on the internet. Turn off the talk radio, ignore the hysterical commentary on TV. How are you being burdened? Are you literally tripping over Mexicans when you walk outside? Are you being pushed out of your job by Mexicans? Taxed too much? (They contribute more to the American purse than they take from it). I think it just boils down to brainwash and racism. You say you're not racist, but I'm a realist too and the only problem I have with Mexicans is the loud "Mexican polka" music.

Come on man...where were your ancestors from? Who were the first people here on the america's anyways? All the mexicans want to do is have a better life. America is set up, if you ask me, they should all be allowed to work here. BUT, make them pay taxes, pay into social, be drug free. Mexicans are hardworking people, they actually work for their money. I don't know many people that would work hard for 5 dollars a day and be happy for it. ****, half the unions in the U.S want top pay, and we don't work at all! SO LET THEM BECOME CITIZENS, LET THEM PAY TAXES, LET THEM PAY SOCIAL, LET THEM MAKE MINIMUM WAGE TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE. They only want to Work!

guess who'll make those no more vacancy signs, probably illegal aliens lol, quit filling yourself with **** and be realistic, americans refers to all those within the american continent, only native americans have any rights whatsover to claim here in the u.s., and let me guess where your family\s from, probably protestant england back in the day, or maybe germany, i don't know, but chill out, if it wasn't for mexicans, u guys wouldn't been able to commercialize the heck out of mexican food, now you guys have pollo loco, and del taco, and other restaurants mimicking our culture, yet u don't want our culture u say? how weird, so from now on u agree to not associate yourself with anything whatsoever that is in relation to the mexican culture, ok? :)

Hey, you yourself was an immigrant a long time ago. Stop using the term alien to describe people. What a shame on those who use this term to describe people. It shows your mode of thinking and the love you are showing towards people.. Change this attitude first, be nice to people and then talk about any illegals in your country. Hope you understood my point here..
