i have to admit that i didn't like it at first when she did join the group but she kinda rubbed off on me and she makes the show interesting. What do u all think. OH! and do u guys think they fired her or what?!

She spiced it up. I rarely watched it before but when she came on I started watching it everyday. If they don't find someone funny, interesting and with personality to replace her the show will go back in the toilet and I'll quit watching. I don't think they fired her. From the beginning she said she was only going to do one year. Apparently her and ABC couldn't come to an agreement. "The View" had their highest ratings in 10 years during Rosie's stint. Since ratings are the most important thing for networks it would be stupid for them to fire her. Who's going to keep the show going? Elisabeth? Barbara Wawa? Forget it. incan brings up an excellent point. Men like Maher, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, etc. can speak there minds and yet don't get near the criticism that a woman (esp. if she's gay and overweight) gets for doing the same thing.

I didn't start watching The View until she became the host. I understand how she upsets people and I don't always agree with her, but I don't think she's the villain that some make her out to be. In fact, there are many men in the media who have stuck their foot in their mouth just as bad as she has (some even worse!) or have expressed an opinion just as passionately, however unpopular, and they are not nearly as criticized as Rosie is.
Again, I don't always agree with Rosie but Joy often does share the same opinion or view -especially politically- and no one says WORD ONE about her.
I don't think she was fired because she always gets applause from the studio audience (again, I'm perplexed as to why she's perceived as having radical opinions when a live audience shows approval) but I hope they get someone just as outspoken because that's what I tuned in for.

She was overtalking everyone and was rude to the ladies. They probably didn't fire her...just didn't renew her contract. Don't like the show, nor do I like Rosie, but they'll loose ratings when she leaves. Everybody watches just to see what she'll do next.

I don't watch The View but I do like Rosie. She speaks her mind and doesn't care what anyone thinks. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm glad...she's too insistent on forcing her particular view of sexuality and morality on others. I don't care what you do, just don't tell me I'm wrong...
She should go dig a hole and stay there, sorry Rosie fans.

i liked her until "the view" turned into "Rosie's opinion on the president" ( every 2 seconds). Alright we get it, none of us like him and none of us want to be at war!

All I can say is "good riddance!!" I never liked her even when she had her own show years ago. I think she's obnoxious and has no class. I know that ABC had made the right choice and canned her fat ***!
