brown eyes have yellow/gold around the pupil, blue eyes either have a spark of red, or gray around the pupil, and hazel has what you have. my brother has hazel eyes, and his tends to change depending on what the lighting is like.

I would say they're hazel. A lot of people think that hazel eyes are for light brown eyes but really hazel is used to describe anyone who has brown-green eyes.
Eye colors aren't usually just one set color. There are often many different shades. Take blue eyes as an example. You put two people with blue eyes together and they're not going to have exactly the same shade.
I think the scale goes something like:
Grey
Blue
Green
Hazel
Brown
Amber
(There's also black of course but I'm not sure where that fits)

My eyes are the same color, and I've always been told they were hazel. Enjoy them! There's lots of different color eyeshadows that look great with your eyecolor and will really bring out the green, especially shadows with a reddish tint such as purples and coppers.

You have green eyes with red-brown flecks. [ Try an eyeshadow in the red-brown, it will make your eyes really green! ]
Hazel is a sort of golden- brown [ tan] color when used for eye color.
My aunt has one blue eye and one green eye with a 'teastain'
[brown spot] in it!

What I did was take a picture of my eye, and then used an eyedropper tool (no pun intended) to select the color on my eye to see where it ended up on the color wheel.
