If we leave before we finish the war, wouldn't that basically be the same thing as surrendering? Don't get me wrong, I want the troops home and safe just as much as the next person, but not at the cost of loosing the war! If we leave before we finish what we went there to do, then, to me, this says that the troops who lost their lives died in vein, and frankly that kind of pisses me off. But that is just one end of the argument. I would really like to see what you all think of the subject.

Well we started the whole thing but not for the reasons we are staying in. It's only getting worse over there and I think our presence is only making it worse. The only reason that we are still over there is to help build and stabilize their government...We can't help them when they don't want to help themselves. Their Parliament wants to take the summer off. OFF! They've hardly resolved anything yet they want a break. They don't want us to leave because they don't want to take responsibility. We have no business over there anymore.
I am a navy wife with 3 friends who are also serving right now. 2 have been over there. I can tell you very honestly they think we need to pull out too.

not our war. we have no business bein over there. send them home. period. period. period. talk to a solider who was over there have him show you pictures of the Taliban ambushing our troops from the tops of mountains. they don't show alot of sh!t on the news women. bring them home. now. you showed your ignorance on this question in my opinion.
