Are the disney world extra magic hours only available to people staying in disney resorts ? I mean is it also available to the people who have disney magic your way ticket but r not staying at disney resorts ?

Yes you have to be staying at a resort or disney property to take part in the extra magic hours. It helps keep the crowds low and lets people who have paid extra money to stay at disney have a chance to enjoy the most time they can.

Extra magic hours are only available to Disney's onsite guests. It is one of the perks for staying onsite. While it doesn't seem like that short amount of time in the park will make much different (especially considering how many guests are staying onsite) it really does help.
If you are staying offsite, I would consider looking into staying onsite. There are a lot of extra benefits that a lot of people don't realize. Depending on the time of year you go value resorts run around $100 a night and give you a lot of perks, in the end I would say most people spend less staying onsite than offsite when you figure in all the benefits.

yeah, u have to be staying at the resorts. the way they distribute the extra magic hours wristbands is scanning the room key. sorry. and don't try to be sneaky by staying in the park. they will catch you. plus you really can't do anything because everyone else will be wearing a neon colored wristband.

that is true. It cost extra but you still don't get the full benefits of a Disney Resort guest with that ticket.
