Trial & error! I finally found one that works! Quantum Physics, the law of attraction, positive thinking...I used to be very negative, nihilistic & that wasn't working so well. It's taken me a long time to learn to love and believe in myself and think positive. I used to roll my eyes at positive people & think "Blah blah blah whatever you annoying cheery person!" but they had a point!

Took a little bit of everything I thought is good, and made my own philosophy.
Factors?
I guess all the movies i ever watched and "moral" messages from them that I got, and I came from a religious family (catholics).
I'm not really an atheist but I'm not an religious type also.
And one important thing: Control your emotions

I'm working on a Zen/Karma accepting philosophy. There are so many aspects of life that you have no control over, that you just need to work with, and get around. Its hard sometimes not to get angry because "Life isn't Fair!" but I just try to take a deep breath and work with what I can and accept what I can't.

Yes. Life is about chances, as long as you are living, you have chances.
I am an optimist, I don't believe in failure in anything, but failure to yourself. I just came to me.

To be honest, the thing that guide me is only my self-awareness.
