People like Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs, Tucker Carlson, Joe Scarborough, Bill Oreilly, Rush Limbaugh, Michal Savage, Sean Hannity, Neil Cavuto, John Gibson, Brith Hume, etc, etc get their own "news analyses" shows where they come up with the topics. They will even admit they are not news but "news analyses" shows. They make their bias known.
What do liberals have? We got Olbermann on MSNBC, Bill Maher on HBO, and a couple of comedians on the comedy channel.

Ratings are high for Olbermann, the Daily Show, and the Colbert Report and keep going up. People are looking for it, but the corporate media is not giving it to them.

There is a difference between right-wing pundit shows and the mainstream media. If a president has an affair (like Clinton) the mainstream media will cover it (FOR MONTHS) regardless if he's a Democrat or a Republican. If that president is a Republican, the right-wing pundit show will make EXCUSES on why it doesn't matter.
For example, when Rush Limbaugh was caught with fake prescriptions, BIll Oreilly invited two guests to his show. One guest defended Limbaugh and attacked the prosecutor saying this was just politics. The other guest also defended Limbaugh and attacked the left. Her and Oreilly were both yelling, but they were BOTH SAYING THE SAME THING!! All three of them were defending Limbaugh and attacking the left. That's the difference.

I prefer the free market. People who want a show, pay, and get it.

There is the answer in one word. Volumes could be written but you wouldn't believe one word of it.
Fact of the matter is more people tap dance on the head of a pin than want to listen to the pro-Communist rhetoric of most liberals. You guys just don't have what it takes to convince me the sun will come up tomorrow. What you do own is most "main stream" (there's a joke) media outlets. The only reason you don't criticize those outlets is because you love the lies they tell, the spin they impart and the bias they refuse to admit to.
If you read, may I recommend a book for you. You will love it, it was written by a Democrat and he admits to that early in the book.

Some of the people you mentioned are hardly hard core conservatives.
The reason these shows succeed is because people want to listen to and watch them. It is a simple concept.
Democrats & liberals get there information out all day long with the mainstream media (ie, ABC, NBC, CBS, most major newspapers, etc.).
As you stated, most of these shows are not normal news shows. They don't claim to be whereas ABC, NBC & CBS claim to be news shows when they clearly have a bias and agenda. The difference is that they simply refuse to admit it.

At least you're honest enough to admit that Olbermann is a flaming liberal - I'll have to give you credit for that, but not much. YOU guys have NPR, the AP, Reuters, NY Times, LA Times, Washington Post - let's face it, nearly *all* the major media - CBS, NBC, CNN, ABC....a bit greedy, aren't you?
FACT: Reuters photog got fired because he got popped by bloggers for Photoshopping pics of Beruit to make Isreal look bad. Not exactly a right-wing tactic, jackass.
FACT: CBS - Memo - do I *really* have to say more? Ask Dan Rather about the "fairness" of CBS. He lost his career over it. Why do *you* think he left? Amazing.
FACT: The LA Times printed a pic early in the Iraq war that made the Brits look *very* bad. Oops! Darn that Photoshop - busted! Are you *really* not seeing a pattern here?
FACT: The NY Times ran a story that made our troops look bad, but didn't bother to check their facts until THREE DAYS before running the story. OOPS! The woman lied - but the Times printed the story in a weekly edition, *knowing* it was incorrect. The did not run a retraction until the *next* weekly - seven days later. Yeah, that's really fair, isn't it? *Exactly* what the conservative media would do, right? Run a BS story that makes the military look bad. Do you really believe your own BS?
FACT: Some drooling idiot who works for the Washington Times posted a blog entry - while *working* for the Times - where he called our troops "mercenaries" and whined about their "obscene amenities". Wait a minute - I thought you lefties were pissed that they didn't have *enough* amenities - now it's "obscene"? This dumbass also made it pretty clear that the returning troops should be grateful no one is spitting on them. All I have to say about that is, anyone who would do such a thing is *not* worthy of the sacrifices our military has made on *their* behalf over the past 230+years.
I don't give a rats *** what someone thinks about this particular war - it is thanks to the men and women of the American military that idiots like that have the FREEDOM to spew their hatred.

Because people watch them....I am sorry to say this but more conservatives make sure they take care of their money and to do that they need a voice that can influence others and can be an voice to the ear of government...
Networks oblige because conservatices watch these shows and liberals watch them just to heckle them and to challenge them...

It's called the free market. This is a difficult concept for liberals to understand: supply and demand. Perhaps -- just maybe -- the reason the supply of conservative talk shows is so large is because there is demand for it. Supply and demand. Free markets. Capitalism. Read a book on it.

The short and simple answer is...liberal celebrities/personalities are NOT entertaining. They are angry, bitter, self-righteous, vacuous and have nothing in the way of new ideas to offer. Their perfect world is socialism which, last time I checked, hasn't WORKED anywhere!
Vitriolic spew is nothing anyone, I even dare say most liberals, want to waste time with. If Al Franken couldn't pull it off (Radio America), no one can.
