Making money from an online business is possible. There are many opportunities from the internet. At the same time there are also tons of scams.
Do your research carefully to avoid becoming a victim.
Ask yourself what kind of business are you interested. Not necessarily you have to fork out huge amount of money.
In fact the best online business is something created out from your hobby. Link all revenue models from your hobby. This way you can earn money doing something that you love.
You won't feel like a struggle doing something you don't like.

Yes, but it is very difficult. The businesses mentioned below were started when the Internet businesses were young and new. Now you have to come up with an idea that is fresh and marketable, or figure out a way to compete with well established business in new and innovated way. More Internet business fail then any other. But hey no risk no gain. The advice to do your research is very important. There are also market research companies that can help with your ideas.

You can make money by starting an on line business. If I can do it, I think anyone can. I started by joining existing websites and then created my own blogs/websites to help promote them. And it was all free to do. It just took a lot of research and looking to find really good sites. I also make money directly on the sites themselves.

To start a business can be costly. The question is do you have the funds.
I didn't, so I just partnered with a company and took all the guess work out as well as high startup costs.
They are members of the BBB, which was important to me with all the scams out there.
Maybe you should look into your options?
