There's a difference between the feudal system and the manorial system. The feudalism is a term that describes the relationship between members of the warrior/noble class. Manorialism describes the relationship between peasants and their lords. The deaths of so many laborers did mean that labor was in high demand, raising wages and enabling serfs, previously tied to the land, to move from place to place, seeking better wages and benefits in exchange for their labor, but this would only affect the manorial system.
The feudal system was probably more affected by the Hundred Years War and the adoption of gunpowder in Europe in the late 14th century, especially in England and France. With this new technology, well-trained warriors became less of a factor than sheer numbers, so even the lowest members of society could participate in warfare.

The Black Death overran England in 1348/1349 killing 45% of the population. After that, there was a great shortage of labour, so serfs were able to find better jobs with employers who offered higher wages. Efforts to suppress wages failed and led to the Peasants’ Revolt of 1381, after which serfdom was finished.
The shortage of labour led landowners to make use of less labour intensive methods of cultivation. They tended to move to grazing sheep rather than growing crops, which led to the rise of the wool trade and the growth of a merchant class that threatened the power of the aristocracy.
The Feudal system came to an end on 22nd August 1485 (at about lunchtime) when the last of the Feudal kings, Richard III, was defeated and killed by Henry Tudor (Henry VII), a representative of the ascending merchant class.
Footnote. There was no ‘Black Plague’. The Black Death was an outbreak of plague that overran the world in 1348/49/50. There were further outbreaks of plague, and it is still occurring today, but these were not part of the Black Death.

Saw this on the History channel just a few weeks ago! Basically, so many people died that the rich people (the ones that survived) no longer had the luxury of having peasants do their manual labor. There were just not enough peasants left, and so they were forced to do it themselves. Moreso, before the plague a big reason peasants worked the lands of the wealthy is because there was just no space for them to live any other way. After half the population was wiped out, there was all sorts of elbow room and created new, better options of making a living. The black plague is also to thank for the early industrial age-- once again, there was such a slash in the workforce that people had to find another way to get things done. For instance, there were just not enough people left to copy manuscripts by hand anymore, and therefore the printing press was born to pick up the slack.

It did not end the feudal system, don't know where you might have gotten that info. the feudal system continued until the mid 1400, over 100 yrs after the last of the black plagues that killed over 1/3 of Europeans. Feudalism died of with the advent of sea trade, and the merchant class coming into existing because of trade in larger scale to other nations. but the Plague had little impact on ending feudalism.

Lots of people died. There were alot of job openings for a few people, with just as many people in charge dying as well. The workers knew they had an edge, and started holding out for wages, or just got up and left and went to where people were being paid wages to work.
That is a very short answer, summing up a few hundred years of several countries history, mind you.

It killed 30% of the population and increased the status of the surviving peasants because they became a scarce source of labor.
