Another name me and my husband have agreed on...lol. I love the name but all the Mica's he knew were girls and all the Micah's I knew were guys. So is it too feminine?

I think Micah is a beautiful name. My cousin named her little boy Micah after she decided she wanted a biblical name. It is a name that could go both ways I guess, but oddly, I have never heard of a little girl named (Mica) or (Micah). Go with whatever feels right.

I definatly consider Micah a male's name. I do not think it is girly at all! My best guy friends name is Micah. I love the name for a boy!!

i know no females named micah or mica. all are males. i've never even heard of that.

It's a boy's name, Biblical, but it's one of many boys' names that have been used for girls a lot in recent years. There are a few other boys' names ending in A or AH, like Joshua, Josiah, Ira, Elijah, Jeremiah, Isaiah. All have their own masculine beauty.

When I think of Mica I think of the thin flakey mineral that makes up the schist of Manhattan island. It sounds a bit feminine to me, but with the H it might work for a boy.
