Because you love that person and life isnt the same without them. I always get an empty feeling whenever I think of my mom or any of my Best friends. I have lived in Italy, Spain and Japan and i have left dozens of friends behind and it always makes me feel sad. and my mom died when I was just 3.
But it isnt the end of the world. Things happen and life goes on.
And u just have to face it Buddy.

That is because of how you still feel about them. And why are you so sure they are only part of your past. The past has a way of repeating itself, so there is every chance that you will see them again. Did you tell them you wish to see them again?
