Sex was not 'discovered' as such....
People take birth with this instinct. Also no one needs to teach you the game of reproduction.
However, when you consider sex as a thing you derive pleasure from, that may require you to increase your skill set.
The ancient works such as 'The Kamasutra' did just that.
Otherwise sex is naturally inherited by all, even animals in their proper season know somehow 'what to do' .... ever watched the behaviour of monkeys in their mating season???
Sex therefore is written in our DNA from above... nobody's discovery....
take care
:o)

Sex goes back to nearly the time the planet was created and it would impossible to tell who the first person was that discovered it. Adam and Eve did not really exist. They are a metaphor.

ME....!!! I, I Discovered long before i was born. Sex is just a word in the dictionary you find. There is nothing to decribe the nature of evolution through mutual agreement between male and female. It made a lot of awful translation after the word exists. Please dont get me wrong. You and me exist because of such behaviour of our parents too.

If sex were something that had to be discovered, then none of us would be here right now.

I'd have to go with God on this one, he created it so he musta known first. Although he's a spirit, so I guess technically that doesn't count. Try reading Genisis in the old testament of the bible. Otherwise, consault whatever religon you are. Generally you will find the answer there.

Well, its kind of necessary for most animals including humans. It must go back at least 500 million years to some strange animal grandfather.

Isn't amazing that it works? Just think of God's wisdom. How the organs are perfectly workable in unison, and how sex can keep the generations of the world expanding.

Obviously the very first people, or we would not be here to ask (and answer) the question.
I assume that you are old enough to know how babies get here.
