This is by far the toughest division, which team will take it? Plus why does the NL central have more teams then any other divison, how is that fair to all of the teams?

If the bullpen can stay solid, I don't see anyone overtaking the Indians. They have the best offense in the division and the deepest starting rotation. While Cliff Lee has been out they have not missed a beat because Fausto Carmona came in and threw so well it's tough to have to move him out of the starting rotation. He easily is a regular starter on almost any other roster. The only place I see Detroit having an advantage is their bullpen. Minnesota, which only one person has mentioned so far is probably more of a threat than Detroit not because of talent but because they just always seem to find a way to win. Everyone seems to love Jim Leyland, but I think the best manager in the division is Ron Gardenhire.

The Detroit Tigers will win the division baby!!!

Deepest pitching staff and bullpen in all of baseball, solid lineup top to bottom. Give them a few more weeks and they will be proving why they are the premier team, again, in the American League.

And if not, at least you'll hear a few hilarious tirades by Jim Leyland.

I'll still go with Detroit. Sheffield's bat will heat up, and then they'll get Rogers back for the second half. Cleveland has played better than I thought they would, and so have the Twins; I still think that when the dust clears though, the Tigers will win the Central.

Cleveland will take the Central Division in the American League.

AND, WHY is it unfair that one division have more teams than another? Your position makes no sense to me. Sometimes I think we get carried away with this "fair" bit!!

Chow!!

The once lowly Detroit Tigers. Jim Leyland is a pretty good manager.

Tough to tell at this point. It will likely not be the Kansas City Royals. All the others have a legitimate chance.
