If you stay with your first guess, your odds of winning are 1/3; however, if you always switch, your odds of winning are 2/3.

This is a famous problem in probability known as the Monty Hall Problem, named after the emcee of the game show "Let's Make a Deal". The contestant should switch doors. The odds are 1/3 he or she picked the correct door. Switching increases the odds to 2/3, because Monty always reveals a door with junk.

I will obviously choose by random, there is no rational way to choose the correct door. And statistics isnt much of a help since the contestant will finally be having 2 doors to choose. So the probability of winning choosing any of the 3 doors is 50% since one door will be eliminated.

Your chance is 1 in 3 no matter what. After the host opens one of the junk doors, it's obvious you're now 1 in 2 no matter if you switch or not. It's as simple and no more complicated than that.

There is a one out of three chance of a move being a good one! There is a 33.333% chance that you will pick the right door and a 66.666% chance you will pick the wrong one! Hosts dont 't always temp them with the wrong one because they know the contestant doesn't know where it is either way so it dont matter! I would probably choose the first one I picked because it doen't have a better or worse chance then the others
