what do you call it? and is there even a different between the two?

i'm asking what you call it... but i wonder if anyone calls it a bookpack and backbag?

i call it a backpack.. or are you asking me what i prefer if there's a difference...? i'm confused.

Yes there is a difference.. A book bag is usually made out of light cloth or cheap nylon while a backpack has poles on the sides for durability and usually made out of canvas or sturdy nylon..

When I went to school we did have those luxuries. But we used backpacks when
we were still able to hike or go to the Ex in Toronto. We put pop, water, sandwiches and fruit in it. Saved us a lot of money. The backpack meant we
didn't have to carry anything in our hands. {all the better to hold my hubby's hand}

a bookbag and the bookbag is more of a sling then a backpack
