I am almost 16 years old and stand 6 foot 1, 160 pounds. I would say i was kind of a late bloomer, as i hit puberty when close to turning 14. My dad is a little over 6 2, my mom 5 7, both tall for their gender. I want a good answer about how tall I will be. Many people say 6 2 because thats my dad's height, but I havent even finished puberty yet, and am only 15. Does anyone know a way to predict height accounting for sexual maturity/puberty?

The only true way to predict height is by the femur measurement the pediatrician probably took when you were about 2 years old. So, talk to your pediatrician. He/she should be able to give you a good idea of your final height.

It does not matter if you were a late bloomer....you could still be close to your final height. The growth process is different for everyone and though you think you started late at 14 (you didn't! that is actually about right) you shot up fast.

You might want to go here, enter the required info and receive an estimate of how tall you will get to be. Remember, it is only an estimate! It does not take into consideration the rest of the "family tree". It only uses your parents so it is not very accurate.

Keep in mind that you will not grow taller than the tallest member in your blood line (unless you have a hormone issue) so find out the height of your tallest blood relative. If no one was taller than 6'2", you won't get taller than that. What does it matter? At 6'1" you are already taller than the average of 5'10" for male height.
