The kimonos really range in cost depending on what you want. Everything comes from Japan is very nice, but you do have options. For example, a poly blend, all silk, short, long, etc. When you go they will help you decide which is best for you and get you fitted and things like that. So it just depends on how much you want to splurge. I believe the least expensive option runs around $50 or so and then they can go up to several hundred when you get into the silk ones.

Also, you may want to stop by China quick before you head to Japan. While the kimonos are really nice, I know a lot of people (message boards and such) that have bought the kimonos and then went to China where they have really great robes and wished they had the robe instead. Robes are a little higher, but I believe they run around $100... Another thing to think about.

On the other hand, the kimonos rolls (Fish, avocado, cucumber) are $10.75 at Kimonos Sushi Bar. Which is at the Swan and Dolphin resort.... Just thought you may like to know ;-)

I would imagine they are a bit pricey, but worth it. Last year I saw some at China and they were beautiful. I would think they would be at least $50 or more depending on what designs you would want. I know you can look up merchandise on the web that Disney has at its parks, so try "Epcot kimonos" or something, play around with the words and you might find some prices. Happy birthday, good luck, and have fun! I will be there in September!
