The democrats only pretend to respect and support our troops. They wasted time and money to make a political point, with no real thought of our troops.

In attempting to ensure that SOME sort of exit strategy is in place, you call that disrespecting our troops? If Bush is not basically forced into a plan to exit Iraq, the troops are doomed to fight a war with methods guaranteed to continue the status quo.
This is now a civil conflict between sects. Bush did not plan on any real strategy to get our troops out of Iraq after "Mission Accomplished". I don't feel Bush nor his appointees are capable of forming a cohesive plan to exit Iraq. That in and of itself is reason for cogress to step in and demand that there be a time set to have our troops home.
If you do not learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it. See Vietnam for more insight.

Pelosi wants the withdrawal plan in the funding bill because she and most Americans do respect the trooops.
Unlike Bush--or his few remaining supprters. Bush's "war" is in reality nothing more than an effort to crush an Iraqi resistance movement that is fighting to expel a foreign invader that has invaded and occupied their country.
And that won't happen. The Iraqis are fight for their freedom--against Bush's puppet regime and occupation army. Do you really think they will EVER give up until we are gone and they have their country back?

It is very simple. The democrats are power hungry. Their not woried about our troops only the future of their own hell bound political carreers. CAn you imagine how people who have lost their loved ones feel about this? And the people who have someone close to them over there right now? It is crazy. To lose this war and quit now, would be a complete disaster. What we need to do is warn Iran one time. To stop sending bombs. If not, we should invade Iran! I also think, Prez Bush should charge the the members of the Republican & Democratic party, whom have voted for this bill, with treason against this nation. And hang them in front of the White House. My opinion of course nothing more.

She respected them enough to want to bring them home ALIVE to their loved ones. Bush values them so little he wouldn't mind if they all came home in boxes hidden from the no longer free press. Congress should impeach Bush and remove him from office. Bring our troops home. Alive. Now.

What about respecting the families of the soldiers?
What about respecting the Americans who are paying the bills for the Iraq war?
