This is the equation of a line; any point on the line will give you a value for x and a value for y that will satisfy this equation. There's no single answer.

For instance, x = 0 and y = 65/59 will work. So will x = 65/18 and y = 0. So will x = 1 and y = 47/59.

They can be any of many different options.
If you are looking for an exact answer then you should have a second equation in order to do substitution. There is no correct answer if you just have this equation.

x= 6.5/1.8, y=6.5/5.9
to solve this problem you do this
1.8x+5.9y=6.5
for x, make y 0: 1.8x+5.9(0)=6.6
x= 6.5/1.8
for y, make x 0: 1.8(0)+5.9y=6.6
y=6.5/5.9
