I am as ready as I will ever be, I am not getting my "mother" anything anyways, she does not deserve a damn thing. I can give her what she deserves but that won't be very nice. Don't hate me, if you knew my mom and all the things that has done for me and hasn't done for me that a mother should, you would think the same way as I do.

But as for gift ideas for your mom, a gift card to a restaurant, a necklace, watch, a cd she likes, something to add to her collection, or some house shoes. Better yet, just spend the day with her, take her out to eat and shopping, I am sure any mom would like that.

She does not have lots so I continuously attempt to think of of her on mom's Day. Am I ready for Mother's Day...Hell's yes! I only hope my husband will remember, because he and I both have recently lost our own mom's, so it's up to him to steer our kids in the right direction, by getting me a gift certificate to a spa.

I am actually ready! Only because I was with my mother when she saw something she liked but wouldn't really buy for herself, so I did later. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have a clue.

I might call my old flower shop halfway across the country and have flowers delivered to her grave. And I'll never even see them. She only liked peppermint carnations... Bless her.
