reincarnation is being born again,,,,,,, in this world,, some people believe in cross species incarnation(meaning you might be an animal in one lifetime, a human in another),,,,,,, others dont
basically, to reincarnate is to be born again, with a new body, but retaining your soul/spirit

As others stated, reincarnation is the soul returning to earth in another life. Cross-species is called transmigration.
Millions of people believe in reincarnation. There is even a study that suggested reincarnation is referred to in Christian scripture. Some believe that dogs and cats reincarnate. Some people have memories of past life experiences or feel familiar with a place they've never been before. It's a very interesting subject.

Everything is what you believe it is. I don't really understand what you are asking, but it seems to be whether or not a person could be reincarnated as an animal. If that is so, I don't know. I think that Hindus believe that one progresses from one form to another depending on ones behavior in each life, so I assume they believe that could happen. Others who believe in reincarnation think one just returns as a person time after time until certain lessons are learned.
I personally don't believe in any afterlife and recommend to those who do that instead of wondering about it they just concentrate on being the kindest, least harmful being they can be in this one.

Reincarnation is returning to the physical world of the incarnate to participate in another round at physical life, after having returned to the non-physical realm for a little rest. You don't have to come back, but you may if you choose to. Or you can choose to live another type of existence or simply exist in the non-physical. It's all up to you. There's no Heaven or Hell. They are myths. They are states of mind. Heaven is knowing that you are one with God. Hell is the state of mind of being separate from God. Many people on earth are in Hell right now because of this. Conversely, many are currently in Heaven on Earth!

Reincarnation is the belief that you live one life after another. In one you might be human, in another animal. At least, thats the Hindu view of it. Thats why there is a famous Hindu saying.."the fly you kill today may have been your brother yesterday..."
All reincarnation means is "to be made flesh again"....you hear a lot of talk about past lives, and how people put under hypnosis recall details about who they used to be...some people think deja vu is a past life memory.

Animals are simpler creatures. They don't have a million thoughts keeping them awake, and fulfill their bodies needs over anything else. Just like babies, they can fall asleep doing anything, because they're minds are not fully developed. So no, I don't think their sleeping habits have any corrolation to reincarnation or the afterlife.
