I quit, and the pain in the can miraculously went away.

Physically if metaphorically? Physically; yes I was going through renal (not rectal) failure, which made them relative. The less your kidneys work the less the rest of you works. Believe me it is hard to move your bowels when your body does not work right.
My solution was to get a transplant. Even that is not as easy as it sounds.
Metaphorically; big fat yes!!!!! Some are worse than others. The lesser ones can be usually be talked to and subdued. The worse ones can sometimes only be remedied by removing them from your life. Very sad but ocassionally true.

Yea but he's in bed now !!! Seriously though yes, it hurt to sit up straight. I hurt the worst sitting in the car. I bought this little foam ring to sit on. One side is smooth and the other side is egg crate. You can order them from www.drleonardo.com It doesn't hurt to sit anymore but I still use them. I bought 2 of them. One for the car and one for sitting in the house !!!
