Not sure what you're trying to ask....we can live when we want to, but the timing of our death isn't our decision to make.

Well, we can die whenever we want ... but ... I think it is fairly well established that when we might choose to die is usually based on false assumptions of our own place in the universe and of our own inter-relationship with others.
I always found it fascinating that too many people are way too focused on them self and have no clue what is going on with anyone else.
We are like the wind, in transience, but can we tell, after we have blown over the cheek of a maiden experiencing her first love what the effect of that soft breath was? No we cannot, because we have already passed by and can only see what is next, or never ... we can never see what we have done and how we have changed things ...

It is logically a fallacy to argue that there is "one"
"true" god. The proposition presupposes an assumption,
which has and is not substantiated by evidence.
"Faith", as we know it is also untenable. Since it
too is based on several confabulated fallacies. The
same is accurate with respect to agnosticism and
atheism. It's not the case to say, that we do not
know one way or another, but it is also not the case
that we do not know that we do not know. The
ambiguity leaves us in a state of evidence, or the
absence thereof, because we cannot explain the
implacability of the universe, which leads us to
Existentialism Kierkegaard, Freddy Nietzsche(AKA,
hermit, whore monger and syphilitic near-do well),
Sartre, Camus and other agnostics, who wanted to
rationalize their hatred for the Stoics in way form or
fashion they could. Thus, they ruminated around and
hatched one of the most dangerous philosophies on
earth: the idea that man is essentially nothing pitted
against the implacability of the universe. If this is
so, then it also nothing to kill somebody, which as we
all know is nonsense. Rather than admit, that their
philosophy breaks down, they would rather proselytize
verisimilitude's of its vagary upon the world as being
the end all and be all of belief systems. The
evidence of the reality check on it is quite another matter. Religion: if it's organized, then pick your poison. It's not so simple to <...live and die when we want to, etc.>It simply isn not our choice. We bring ourselves to lament and find fault with both life and our fellow man when we try to deal with things that are beyond our power. Think about it.

Well, we do actually. We live and die and experience the consequences of all our choices, only it isn't the ego that makes the choices, it is the soul. The ego wants to be in control and live in a state of pleasurable enjoyment but it is the soul that ensures we get what we need, not what the ego wants.

I don't think we have any control over our birth and if that is true how can we have control over our death. We may just die any day or any moment. I think things are like this because we are created not the creators and that is why we can't.....

We do live and die when we want. We choose our life, our birth and death ourselves at the soul level as our non-physical selves.

well for starters our concept of fair is not necessarily something the universe in general is going to bend itself backwards to agree with.
