For my family it would be a, b, d, c, e in that order. I'm certain about the first one, I'm giving my best guess on the rest. I know from personal experience that option 'a' is a huge issue for them, 'b' ain't much better.

My family would find it hard to accept this things here:
1) Someone who is not of the same race
2) Someone who is not of the opposite sex
3) Someone with different political view, so yes to that part of your question!
4) I would find it hard to accept a man that is financial destitute and lacks career ambition! Not because i would only date someone rich because that's just not me. I don't want a rich man i want a man that is going somewhere in life. If i wanted to date someone that has no goals or ambitions in life, there would be an endless amount of people i could date.

F) none of the above

My family is really quite open minded and accepting. They adore my partner, none of us ever have identical political views, she speaks German fluently, she's Wiccan and I'm an ordained Minister, and we've all had financial difficulties at one time or another. That's why having a supportive family is good...they're there for you when you need a leg up to get back on your feet.

Fortunately probably (E). My family is fairly progressive, so they're ok with the fact that I'm gay. We don't really talk politics in my family. My family is divided into two faiths. Most are christian and a growing number are pagan. My mother's side is very strongly German in a strongly German area, so some still speak a second language. I don't see that as a problem, especially with the languages I know and want to know.

It would be hard to accept someone who does not speak English because none of us speak another language, but other than some difficulty communicating it would be fine.

We're already split on religion and politics, and finances are not really a fighting issue. So I hate to say it but my family would have a hard time accepting my wife.

I'm sorry to say...A
They are very against same sex relationships but I would rather be with a woman than a man with no ambition...as for C, I'm not even within my families religious tradition and they still accept me...

In my family, we have all of those things. I am gay, they are cool with it. We are, for the most part all on the same page when it comes to politics. We are not religious, My sister husband speaks little english, and we all live in poverty. I think that just about covers it.

E. People who are down tend to bring me down, and I know my family would tell me that. But if someone needs help, they're the first ones there, so I guess it's partly E that would be the answer.

I will have to go with none of the above, those that know me know that I would make the decision for a reason, and would be happy for me.

So unless the person was a bad person, I see no issues.
