I think he had a good career, and is still good. Too bad for him the Panthers cut him

As a Panthers fan, I find this upsetting. Our team is getting old, but Keyshawn still has at least one more good season in him. In my estimation, this next season will probably be the Panthers' last remote chance for a title in the next decade or so. Delhomme will play another season or two, and then we'll have a new QB. New qbs don't win many games, and by the time Jake's replacement is groomed, Steve Smith will be past his prime and it'll all be ruined.

Anyway, the point of that was if they wanted a shot at the Super Bowl, they needed all the talent they could get. Resting all of their eggs in the baskets of a young crop of receivers just wasn't smart, and they'll probably fail because of it.

I still don't understand how he was "expendable" for the Panthers. I mean this is the Panthers were talking about right? Since when did they have a super star receiving core other than the great Lil man Steve Smith? If Indy cut him than I would understand. Just doesn't make any sense to me; if I was going to cut him, I would have waited until the beginning of preseason at least, so he could teach D. Jarrett a thing or two. Maybe there are some behind the scenes factors that we don't know about yet, maybe a dispute or just some cost cutting factors. We will have to wait and see.

Keyshawn is a solid nfl receiver. I don't know what Carolina is doing. They have paid him like a 3 million dollar roster bonus and then cut him a month later. Remember this a team that Keyshawn was the second best receiver they had, now what are they gonna do.

Like most other people that have answered, I think he has a good season or two left in him and I would love to see the Chiefs pick him up. Even at his age, hes better than any of the WR the Chiefs have (or have had for a long time). He's a solid possesion reciever, he's not a deep burner or anything, but he could help our #1 draft pick, Dwayne Bowe, become a top notch NFL reciever.

I think he actually has about 2-3 years left, if he finds another team where he can be effective. He had a pretty good career, and if he retired now I think he would be pretty satisfied when he looks back at it.

He had a good career and he can still play. He wants to play two more years. I think Green Bay is definitely interested in him after missing out on Randy Moss.

he's had a very good career, the model of consistency, even though his mouth has gotten him into trouble...i see him coming back for one or two more years and helping out some team somewhere and trying to win another championship

He should have one more year left in him... hopefully he can make a team as a 2nd or 3rd wide receiver
