Yes. Well put! Anyone who feels hateful is experiencing pain. The pain of self-loathing, lack of love, rejection, insecurity etc. Someone who is happy, someone who loves & accepts himself doesn't hate others. Someone who is miserable & in pain may experience anger & hatred toward others. It's a cry for help but hard to recognize as such.

It might as well be a confession of pain. Hate is a very strong reaction that doesn't get provoked for no reason at all. We humans do not have strong reactions to things that don't matter to us. If a person is feeling hate/strong dislike, etc., they usually have some deep issues going on with the target of their hate. Other wise, why spend all that emotional energy? Hate is exhausting.

Yes. Pain takes on many guises. Hate is the bubbling in the volcanoe or the seething in your brain. In time both will erupt. The earth spews out the very molten rock that itself is created from. We to spew out the vile venemous hatred that is the unfortunate by product of a technologically advanced yet alienated society. Competitiveness in a money oriented world breeds jealousy and contempt at many different levels.
This world runs you over and then checks the rear view mirror to see how badly your hurt. Others slow down and rubber neck and are glad it is not them. I see billboards of girls in jeans, celebrities and the like, but people like Mother Theresa
travel the fast lane towards anonimity. So be glad your hate comes out rather than fester inside. And realise that the pain you are feeling is the pain that alot of people feel - injustice, intolerance and inadequacy.

You could call it pain. I myself would call it a passion and a pain. I carry a lot of hatred for a lot of people, and it's not just dircted at people, it can also be directed at reason. Hate can be extremely painful though, not physical, but emotionaly it tears you apart. Not only do I cry after I list the unfair times in life and people I dislike, but I feel like an emotional reck. Hope it helps.

No, I don't believe it is.
Hate is a rational reaction to people whose interests consistently conflict with ones own. Hate arises from, among other things, wanting to assign blame to others for our misfortune, protecting our self-esteem, a desire to strengthen our community, alleviating our fears (by destroying the evil others), and several types of errors in reasoning, including cognitive bias.
Hate is nothing more than an expression of utter revulsion, its the strongest, most destructive emotion we have. Hate isn't about pain, its about self preservation.

Sometimes. There are those times when you feel that the playing field is tilted away from you when all you ask that it be level. This, over time, can turn into hate from a sense of injustice. There is also the times when a repeated wrong is constantly thrown up in your face and does quick turn to hate.

Hatred is a painfull emotion experienced by the hater. It has no effect on the person being hated. Therefore it is a statement of pain, but only to the hater.

No. It can be, sure, but it doesn't have to be. Hatred is a warped sense of ones own importance in the larger picture of life. When one puts them self in the focus of all existence and life doesn't match up to them, or people don't meet their standards, then indeed hatred exists. But, there is no requirement that pain is there. Not at all. Sometimes hatred is just a twisted version or obsessed apathy.

It is of the Judgment, the Judgment is negative, hate is negative, pain is negative, fear negative, anger negative. The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.
The relations of negative experience is knowledge of Judgment. The Will that knows positive from knowing the Judgment is positive and wise. The Judgment that understands its self as Will, is evil and infinitely destructive.

i dont think so, while hate can stem from other emotions and feelings,,,, i think there is a type of hate that is just hate,,,,,, usually concerning a persons direct negative actions towards you,,,,,,, or their actions/attitudes, in general,,,,
some will say hate represents or is the opposite of love,, i dont think thats true,,,,, if you think about all the various ways you can love,,, it makes sense that there are various ways to hate, there is not one source or foundation for love, nor is there for hate
