I have an ASUS G1, the memory standard is DDR2 PC5400 667Mhz, i purchased 2GB's of kingstons PC6400 800mhz and i hoped that my computer would recognize it at the right speed but it only runs at 667mhz. is there any way to tweak the motherboard or bios so that it will run at full speed?

According to your motherboard specs your FSB = 667Mhz. That means your ram can not run faster than 667 MHz.

laptop r usually very picky.b4 u do anything check with asus first.

if you dont have those options in bios I dont think so,try updating your bios
