i own a repair shop and the bulbs are around 10-20 bucks a piece depending on where you get them at ,and you can figure about 20-25 minutes labor or less on them,if you have them both done it will cost you around 65 bucks probably or less for the bulbs and labor, and yes i have seen both go out at the same time,it happens like that sometimes, but its not a bad job to do,good luck with it hope this helps,PS you might be able to replace these your self ,you can look them over and see if you think you can do it,that would save you a little money, good luck with it.

Probably about $300 if it's easy to install yourself and isn't an HID. If it's HID or tough to install, you could be looking at 4 digits, it might even start with a 2. Here's some good news, if it's expensive, your accident would be covered by your collision coverage. It would be an "at fault" accident but it could save you well over a grand to report. More good news, you should be able to find a generic replacement that looks just like the real thing. Keystone automotive is a big aftermarket headlight supplier - contact them. I've never seen a headlight available as a lens and housing sold separately and headlights might be a hundred bucks on a ten year old ford but they aren't on a Volvo.

The bulbs cost around $10-30 depending on model, plus taking it somewhere and paying them $60 or whatever to put em in. Changing them isn't that hard, at worst it might involve pulling an air cleaner off or a battery out.
Both going out at once isn't that weird... they seem to both go within a few months of each other is my experience. However if the replacements go, then you have an electrical problem that you need to fix right away. Pencil in a few hundred bucks for that.

I have seen that happen but rare. The head light is easy to replace and you likely can do it yourself with a book you will need a screw driver or a thorax driver. the parts person can guide you to the right tool with his books the lights are cheep. If you pay someone to do you don't learn anything and it will likely cost you 1/2 hour time for each light. Good Luck and GOD Bless

That is a little rare, either that or one went out and you didn't notice it, or maybe you just hit a bump and it took both of them out.
Go to a discount store like autozone and buy the lights, the parts guys will help you out with the right ones, in fact, if you ask then they may take you out to the car and show you how or may even do it for you, if they aren't busy. good luck

To have them replaced at a service station .It would pay .5 of an hr. labor plus parts about $50.00
Or you could replace the bulb at about a cost of $20.00.
Places like Auto Zone and Orielys will install them for free if you ask nicely.
