It is ok if you never had sex then you can't be pregnant.nothing is wrong with you, your period just might be late or sometimes it skips a month sometimes. It is totally normal.

when I was your 13 or 14 I missed my period here and there but it was due to lack of iron. I was very irregular and never knew when my period was coming. It could be that you are focusing on school work or other things that may cause you to stress hence miss a period. There is NO WAY that you could become pregnant without having intercourse, so don't worry about that. It'll be OK :). Don't be scared to talk with your mom about this and/or maybe an older cousin or friend you trust. This is not a horrible thing ... you might just have to go to the doctors and get yourself checked out. Something small as relaxing and not thinking about this and taking some vitamins might help. Now I'm not quite sure if I understood the second part of your question...or if that was even your question or a comment from another user....if so, yes you can be raped and not know about it ... have you been to any parties lately or in a larger group where someone could have slipped something in your drink? if yes, it is very important you discuss this with your parents. It's important you know, that something like that is not your fault and should be told.
Hope it helps, sorry so long, but I know how scared I was when this happened to me.
Good Luck

Hi,
its very usual to have irregular periods when you are young. you can also miss periods if you are going through a stressful time for instance.

More worrying is your foot note added later. You ask can you be raped and not know...the answer to this is yes! there are date rape drugs out there. If you have any thought that this might have happened then you have to act right away. For instance do you think you know who did it? If so this is a crime! Also if there really is a chance you are pregnant then you also must act. Take a test, or talk to a Dr if you prefair. People are sympathetic and will be horrified and happy to hlp you if it happened this way.
you are going to need help and support, to deal with the many consequences...for instance if you are pregnant you need to decide what to do about it.
If you had realised earlier you could have used the morning after pill, but its probably too late for that now, but you would need to ask a Dr for help.
I would trust someone hun, confide in your Mum or a teacher? they will be able to help you at what must be a very scarey time for you.
My heart goes out to you and i do hope you will be ok.
I do hope you were not raped....

Love and a big hug!

It's normal for teenagers to not have normal cycles. There's nothing wrong with your body. And so far on record there's only been one birth conceived without sex and it's not you. Stop stressing out ok. Are you exercising more lately? Have gained a lot of weight? Lost weight? Are you stressed out about anything at school, home or with friends? Also, talk to your mom and see if she can't explain to you what really happens in your body through the course of a cycle. If she's not comfortable explaining this to you go to your school nurse. Or go to another trusted female relative or parent of a friend. If none of these options sound good there are some good websites (I think WebMD does talk about this and even tampax.com used to send out brochures in discreet packaging in the mail) out there that can explain what goes on.

When you're older look at fertility books and websites as they do give a very in depth look at what happens (don't do this now without discussing this with a parent first, they might freak out at you and we don't want that to happen) and they can help you track your body to prevent pregnancy when you follow this correctly (only with a monogamous partner) or when you are even ready to have a child of your own one day in the very far future.

***
If you were raped and you're a virgin you might now about it the next day. You might be a little sore if someone had sex with you. If someone were to put roofie's in your drink that would lower your ability to know what's going on. Although, I think they make them now that they turn blue when exposed to liquid. I think you're just stressing out right now. If you believe something inappropriate happened however you need to tell your parents and have them help you file a police report. They'll know what to do. Go talk to them.

Sometimes a woman's cycle can be sporadic. I would suggest going to see a doctor. An OBGYN would be able to tell you what is going on. I would not suggest bring up pregnancy if you need to talk to your parents. Explain that you think something might be wrong because you have not your your period. If you do not feel comfortable with talking to the adults in your life, you can find a clinic in your area that may be able to help. Good luck.

When being that young, periods aren't usually very routine. I did not have a routine period until I was 23. If you were a virgin and raped you would know it....You would have a very sore vagina and you could see the result. Don't worry-it's very common to have abnormal periods until you're 18.

You most likely are just having irregular cycles. Make sure that you are eating a healthy diet--not eating or trying to lose weight unhealthily can make your menstrual cycle go "out of whack". If you miss another cycle, I would get checked out by a gynecologist.
