alright so I have at least 3 fry know but mama swordtail still is very large and has a dark!! gravid spot it has been 2 days since I saw the first fray some got eaten but 3 made it can she still be holding some back it is her first prego that I know of and I got her fairly small, as well the male is butting at her belly like before she birthed I was under the usumption that she looked close to normal after birth anyone know??

If she's still large, she's still holding babies. Sometimes they will do that, expect more any time.

Yes she maybe holding more back, but it is wise to put her in a floating tank, even if she isn't going to have more the male swordtail will keep at her and stress her till she dies, she needs time to recuperate on her own after the birth.

Usually once they give birth they have a small dark spot...
