Bush Jr. & Bush Sr. Nixons damage was corrected by Jimmy Carter. Sitting in the White House with the thermostat turned down in a sweater while the Iranians held our hostages.
Bush Jrs damage has yet to be corrected and may not be any time soon.

I think Nixon caused more damage to the Republican Party. He was blatantly and deliberately dirty, whereas Bush is just horribly misguided and stubborn.
But if you ask the question who did more damage to the nation, it is Bush by a mile. A bumper sticker I've seen around sums it all up: "I never thought I'd miss Nixon."

Nixon stuck a knife into the hearts of Americans with his lies,Bush Jr.will be remembered as the President who started a war in the wrong place, and destroyed the Republican party.

Well Reagan made people forget Watergate, so it can't be Nixon. Bush43 has been a very incompetent President, but no damage is irreparable. There are ten Republican candidates for President who will be debating this Thursday and every one of them is capable of restoring public faith in the GOP.
Don't forget, this is the party of Abraham Lincoln, Theordore Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower. They will rebound.

Nixon opened trade with China, ended the war in Viet Nam and ended the draft. Bush will be judged later. Yes, Fred Thompson is the Ronald Reagan republican that will restore the party's greatness.

It took Reagan to finally restore the Republican Party to one that people could respect again. I have to say Bush Jr. because I don't see another Reagan on the horizon to rescue their image this time around, but you never know. I don't know much about Fred Thompson, but a lot of them seem to think he's the answer. A lot remains to be seen about that, if he even runs.

What was happening to our Nation! We found out what was going on with the Communist Party and their move against our rights. Just as now, there are over 70 Communists in our Senate as Senators! What else was revealed? The Communist Party did a large study on American History in why we still had our freedoms and did not allow government takeover of these! It was our Constitution! It states no government gives us our rights as we are born with them! Since the government does not grant them it is very hard for them to take them away, unless people allow it! We find a little candy to radical groups is all it takes! Our freedoms are in danger and the real problem is the left went radical left and supports even giving Communist Countries our secrets like Bill Clinton did and as Obama has done. It was treason with both but they got away with it! Earl

The Republican party isn't the least bit damaged, in fact it has never been stronger. Their greed has almost reached the point where they can no longer steal any more money because they took everything of value from what what once the United States. America as you knew it no longer exists, it's gone, and you can thank the bloated parasites you call Republicans and their unholy alliance with globalist corporate Fascist's for it's demise.
