If a 3.30 lb cat absorbs 1.40 × 10−5 KJ of radiation, how many rads did this cat absorb?

There are a number of things missing here. The wavelength cannot be determined because the number of quanta absorbed cannot be established from this data. The REM usually used in these calculation will not be the same for cats. REM gets revised a lot anyway. The Biological Effects of Radiation committee keeps revising down the level required to cause damage.
