It freezes part way through sessions and sometimes when starting up

try ur recovery disc.

Delete your temporary internet files & cookies. Click on Tools, then internet options, then delete both the files & cookies.
You may have something running in the background. Do you have music playing on your computer. My laptop just won't work with AIM Triton. I can't leave it open, so it's pretty useless for me. If you have spywear, you should run it.
There are so many things that could be causing it, you may need to get a computer geek to look at it.
