In my dream I am alone in my house with my stepfather just hanging out and he says he is going to go visit one of our friends down the street. As soon as he leaves this doll dressed as cupid appears from around the corner with a bow and arrow. It is chasing me around my house and trying to shoot me with its arrow. I run up stairs to my bedroom window and call down to my stepfather but he wont help me. So I'm on my own and have to figure out how to escape. The only solution was to run to an open window in my mother and stepfathers bedroom and jump. As I jump out the window the doll shoots an arrow and before I'm hit I wake up.
In real life, my mother and father are divorced, and my mom is going through a divorce with my step dad. And in my dream my parents are nowhere to be found and my step dad abandons me. Please help

i think your dream takes all of your fears of abandonment and rolls them into one miserable little ball. cupid represents the love that should be all around you in your home and your running from him shows that you already know what sometimes happens to love. you obviously accepted your stepfather (you were calling for him to help you) and he ''abandoned'' you in the dream like you fear is going to happen in real life. i'm sorry you have to go thru all this. one divorce is bad enough, going thru it again must suck. i think the dream itself is pretty straight forward. everyone you love has left each other and makes you feel left too. (i don't, however, have any idea why cupid is a doll) good luck.

You are looking for away of escape from facing the ordeal of parents separation. The bow and arrow signifies you are hurt over the issue.

Are you close to your step dad? Maybe it's that afraid of losing him and you're not OK with your mom falling in love again with another person.

you don't want your love life to be like theirs. you feel alone and like nobody can help you. you want to be alone and don't want to get hurt romantically but your scared you won't find someone that loves you and won't leave you.
