I had asked repetedly for an assistant in order to be able to do my job properly and was repetedly refused. Now I am being made to fill the position i requested to have filled forever. I was never spoken to about my performance and feel that i have been discriminated against. is there anything i can do about this situation?

You may not get anywhere, but you can try your local ministry of labour. They can give you advice about whether or not you have a case.

I had a job that was very demanding, and I documented reasons why we should have hired an assistant, but all they did was laugh. After I left, they hired 2 people. Nothing I could do about it, but I had the last laugh because I got a much better job with better pay and more respect.

Good luck with yours.
