i know its not going to be a gaming machine, but can it handle games like counter strike source?

I would think that it's a good buy, refurbished means, you would have got yourself a warranty as well. The only thing that concerns me is the shared memory. Shared memory doesn't work that well with games, but if you increase it to about 128, I think it should work, but with not all games. CS Source, should work.
