When I say look good I mean does will it make me look larger. Please explain your answer.

Conventional wisdom is that the empire waist is fabulous on plus sized women. I think that's not always true. Avoid them if you are very busty because they end up looking like bad maternity wear, with no shape whatsoever. That would just make you appear bigger.
This dress isn't a true empire waist and I think the wrap detailing will give you nice definition at the waistline (unlike an actual empire, which tends just to hang from below the bustline). I also like the deep neckline - great for drawing the eye upward!
I can't imagine that it would make you look larger, especially if you are plus sized and evenly proportioned. Things to look out for when trying it on: too tight across the upper arm or hips (never flattering, always makes you look like you tried to squeeze into something you shouldn't have) and the dreaded bra strap back overhang. The dress needs to flow over you smoothly.

It really depends on how you're built. I am a plus size but I still go in at the right places and out at the right places. If you're small chested, empire waists will make you look like a pear. If you're big chested you could probably pull off an empire waste. It is a wrap dress and that is supposed to be the most flattering clothing for a bigger girl. I found that the dresses that look best on me are strapless dresses that hug my chest and ribs and then flare out over my belly and butt. Hope that helps!

That's actually a beautiful style for you! I would definitely get it. Empire waist dresses are good and will generally not make you look larger because it disguises your stomach. That dress isn't really an empire waist- it's more of an at-the-waist style which is great if you're more top heavy because it will make you look like you have a teeny waist. That dress is doubly flattering because it's also a wrap dress in a dark color but with bright accents and graceful lines. You are going to look GORGEOUS! :)

Yes, because it accentuates or creates a waistline. With the dress that you selected, the color-blocking will deter attention from problem areas like hips and stomach. The Bright color in the center, will draw the eye upward. Excellent choice. This style looks good on size 2-24. Wear a pair of heels, and it will elongate your leg and give you an elegant posture.

How plus are you? If size 16-20, good dress, if size 26, look again. It's a pretty dress, but the belt thing will not look good if you are bigger than a 20, and if you are big busted and big bellied.

That one might be okay because it's also a wrap dress! Some dresses make plus sized women look pregnant, but it really all depends on what you think! Good Luck!

They shouldn't make you look bigger because they are fitted around the smallest part of the torso. they are supposed to give the illusion of a smaller waist and balance out the hips because it is not form fitting.
Wrap dresses make every one look thinner
