It could be one of two things:
1. There will be a tiny switch somewhere on the flash drive. You will probably need something like a pen or a paper clip to switch it.

2. The drive has gone bad and is no longer writeable. You MIGHT try to format the drive in this case.

It means you can read all the files but you can not put anything in it UNLESS you switch off the "Write Protect". Look at the 3rd photo in this link. Label no.7 is the write-protect switch.

This means that the drive is protected from having people write files to it (or putting files on it).

theres probably a little switch somewere that you have out on to stop the data on there from being changed or deleted. just switch it the other way and it should be fine.
