I live about an hour north of columbia, and i am a HUGE Chiefs fan. Arrowhead has the greatest atmosphere anywhere in the NFL, with all the tailgating and the fans... its amazing. People from St. Louis generally care about baseball more than football, so a lot of STL people don't really care about the Rams.
St. Louis and KC are both about an hour and a half from columbia, so that argument has no merit.
I would definitely tell you the Chiefs, but, if you're in Columbia, you'll get in big trouble if you aren't a Missouri Tigers fan, that's for sure.

Kind of hard when you are biased towards one team. I'm a huge Rams fan. I was born in Los Angeles area so I am a die hard Rams fan even after they left. A true fan of a team will always stay with that team through bad times or good times . That is a true fan. So I would say the Rams, and trying to look at it from an unbiased position I would pick the Rams. There offense is awesome and they picked up some great defensive players in the draft, so they are poised real good for playoff contention !!

I don't think you can become a fan before you even get there. You become a fan because you have lived and died with your team through the good and bad. Unfortunately, both teams are on the downside with aging players. The Chiefs have Larry Johnson and Brodie Croyle who will be the up and coming core of the team. The Rams have Steven Jackson but Bulger is past his prime. Holt and Bruce are definitely on the down side of their careers. I would suggest you go with the team which plays based on your philosophy
The Chiefs: Strong running game and stiff defense.
The Rams: High power passing and bend don't break defense.

St. Louis will probably be a better pick over time. The Chiefs are getting old and their line is falling apart. The Rams will be the better team.

I have been a St.Louis Rams fan forever. They have a great legacy, great heart and it sonly uphill from here. They are projected to be in the NFC championship. NFC games are better broadcasted and there are not as many hard teams.
Columbia is actually closer to St. Louis so more gold and navy fan. They have no profile since they are in different conferences. Also, Everyone loves a Ram/Seahawk game!
GOOD LUCK and GO RAMS!

I would go with the Chiefs because they have better historic and traditional rivalries. Chiefs vs Raiders and Chiefs vs Broncos have produced some great matchups over the years.

I'd go with the chiefs because they have more tradition. It looks like fun to watch a game in that red sea at Arrowhead.
