It isn't his place to get on there and thank people for giving to Idol gives back. Does he want free press or what? What do you think?

He was obviously trying to boost his approval rating, since he only has about 27% approval right now. Since AI has huge ratings, I'm sure acting like he watches AI, perhaps his people thinks that will make him appeal more to the American public.

I don't think President Bush needs to worry about free press. Give him a break all he said was thank you to the Idol program for their charity.

Um, I think he tunes in every week, and he only does it for the singers, and not for idol gives back. I heard hes a big Jordin Sparks fan!
