Good life is the fulfillment you get from your intentions. Like cause and effect. I could be a multimillionaire with a fleet of cars, an expansive and expensive mansion, clothing da'jour.....envy me, right? Some would say this is the good life. But what if along with all these amenities you also have a life threatening disease like cancer or something worse that can not be cured. Would you still say you have the good life?
I think I am an example of a person living the good life. No I am not rich or wealthy but I am over flowed with love, family and good health for me, my spouse, and my 2 children.
I was blessed to find someone who loved me for me....unconditionally. My flaws were very obvious and apparent. He overlooked them and saw my potential. I, in return, did the same for him. Though both of my children were born prematurely, daughter-2 months early and son-1 month early, they are both healthy, vibrant children. I am very close to my family and so is my husband. We believe family is the root to happiness. Not only do we honor our parents we respect them for who they are. I believe if you have family, health, and love the other necessities will come.
And they have.
Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it depends on what you call the good life. Also depends on how old you are. You want millions in the banks and be retired at 30 year old. Not likely to happen. If your my age, semi retired, one kid still in college, no debts at all, wife working also, no serious health problems right now. Then I got it made.
The good life is what you make of it. If you can make ends meet, have a little left over and enjoy life with your family, friends etc., then I think you got there
You want all the window dressing, then you will always want that. Your wants and needs change over the years. Getting by and leaving something to your kids and being able to pay all your debts and still enjoy some travel time with your wife without sacrificing is what I call being on top. They only allow you to put so much into your coffin anyhow and the rest goes to your family and friends and lawyers and debtors. Enjoy each day, who knows if it will be your last.

Money and cars almost never do it. The people who are filthy richest are more often insecure people who can't figure out how to escape from their feelings of inadequacy except by getting richer than everyone else.
Family and children work for some, but not others.
Mihaly Csikszentmialyi did psychological research--pretty well designed--in cultures around the world, and he found one thing; people are happiest when they are doing something challenging that they find worthwhile. It can be something so simple as working on an assembly line, so long as you enjoy it and you keep working to improve your skills.

The good life, huh? For me I'd feel like I was living the good life if I had a job I loved that paid enough for me to live comfortably, a husband who was my soul mate, 2 kids, true & lasting friendships, a beautiful home with a huge yard, loving relationships with my family, and good mental & physical health.

the love of your family and friends, good health, money is highly overrated. ppl work their tails off all their life just to live from one day, one week, one month to the next. money is a joke. if you're healthy and have a good support system of family and friends you are rich indeed, my friend.

The good life is over-rated.
The best life is the one you have. The "grass is always greener" is a recipe for a very miserable existence.

Good life comes when you have the power to control other people's lives.

think of the one thing you really can't live without and often it comes down to one word: MOM, but that could translate into Love. Life without love is nothing.

can you feed yourself and your family, enjoy aspects of your work, fulfil your creativity in some way, relate well to family and friends? "Friendship, memory, these are all we have, calm beyond that broken veil we shall meet again" Then be happy dude
