Until very recently, I'd considered myself to be gay, and only dated women. While I didn't really tell anyone I was gay unless they asked me directly, things got to a point where I'm pretty sure nearly everyone I know was aware of my sexual orientation, just from gossip.
Lately, though, I've started to have feelings for guys, too. I have a thing for one guy in particular, mostly a casual acquaintance. Though I've never said anything that would lead him to believe I'm a lesbian, I suspect other people have. How can I ask him out without him taking it as a joke? How can I find out whether he does think I'm gay or, if he does, tell him that I also like guys, without being too forward?

Just ask him out, he'll have to reach the conclusion that you are bisexual because a lesbian would not be asking a guy out on a date. Sometimes it pays to take the lead.

Most guys, I would hope, would respect a straight forward question and answer session over beating behind the bush to extract information. It's not too serious a predicament, I think he would understand your worries and confusion.. How old are you? I would think with maturity this shouldn't be an uncomfortable conversation. Just ask him straight up

Chat with him, maybe try some light flirting, but find out if you have mutual interests. Suggest a way that the two of you could follow up on such an interest; be vague enough that you're not asking him out, but inviting him to ask you.

The best romantic relationships are those between friends. Be a friend to him and allow him to be a friend to you. If you are both friendly feelings, if they are there, will develop. Let them. You needn't jump ahead of developments.

Though its true ''THE TRUTH HURTS"...just tell him anyway...there's no other way you to tell him, instead from other people's mounth just tell him, if you really like him just show him...it always hurt both the parties...Anyway be yourself life is great...be happy...if you tell him the truth and he will hate you...move on..someone may be waiting for you!!!!

How about mentioning a guy you think is attractive or something? Or you could just ask him out?

For one thing..........stop classifying yourself with these labels.........gay, bi, straight.........all bullshit. If you're attracted to him then tell him you're attracted to him. I'm sure you're not attracted to him just because he's a guy, you're attracted to him because of the same reasons you've been attracted to women. Because of who they are and how they look, and how they make you feel when you're around them. It's just that simple.
