In a recent Q she asked: "Is Camp Delta in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba an American Concentration Camp where POWs are tortured?" Follow up comments: "Camp Delta at Guantanamo Bay is an American concentration camp where "enemy combatants" have no justice and no humanity, they are tortured, live in appallaing conditions, in violation of the Geneva Convention. Look it up!" ROTFLOL! She offers no proof-just opinion. Do you think she's actually been there? Where does she come up with this stuff?

i don't know if there is all that torture,they do have a decent facility. the detainees are in a the middle of controversy though. the US has also violated the lease just by having a prison there,but it takes both sides to terminate the lease and the US is like a bad tenant that won't leave.

An enemy combatant is denied the right to legal counsel and are not always even made aware of the charges against them. As far as the torture and no humanity go, I think that's been pretty well documented. We've all seen the photos and heard the stories of burning Korans or putting them in toilets and of women interrogators rubbing fake blood on the prisoners. That's probably what she means by denying them justice.

Guess I'll stand by Neddie's opinion of Gitmo. And let's hope none of us ever has to find out first hand what our government actually does there.
