My advice is to stick with glasses. I had glasses for 2 years, and last year i switched to contacts, for the same reason you want to change. Contacts require a lot of attention. Cleaning them, taking them out at night so forth....
Sometimes u get debris in them and ugh... it's complicated... you rub ur eyes and the contact is so fragile that it can bend while being on ur eye, so u have to take it out and replace it.... and u always have to make sure ur hand s are clean! so if ur out in the street and nowhere near a bathroom to wash ur hands, u gotta have ur contact bothering until u can get to wash ur hands... and if u keep rubbing it, it just gets worse. And the list of CONs can go on.... ask me and i will tell.... hehehe...
If you are anything like me.... in college working and always out and about it's hard to maintain the care of the contacts. Not to mention sometimes u are just lazy. Your vision also gets worse faster because you have the contacts in for prolonged periods at a time.
Glasses in the other hand, i feel accesorize ur face. Easy to clean, and are easy to take off if u want to take a nap. I'm switching back to glasses def.
Depending on the shape of ur face u can get really nice glasses that fit ur face and style and u'll love ur glasses and not feel dorky or nerdy.....
*i love ur loop nose ring...

you so don't look like a dork. you are down right gorgeous!! love you skin too. well i have contacts and I'm only 13 got them 2 years ago! it was really hard the first time but it got easier. when you go to the eye doctor they will let you try them out there. They will not let you go home without putting them and and taking them out by yourself!! so just try it you might like it! And if you really dont whant to try you look so pretty with the glasses. And it the frames make you feel like a dork try some new ones they have some really cute ones right now. those are just some good ideas. Good luck with this!!

Don't wear contacts if your totally afraid of putting objects in your eyes. Your eyes may be very sensitive and there is nothing wrong with wearing glasses. We need some uniqueness in the world; if you don't mind wearing glasses, go for it. Personally, I can't wear contacts for the same reason. PS: When I first saw your "Scared of contacts" question I initially thought you were referring to people and wondered why you would be afraid of people, lol.

I wasn't too thrilled w/ the idea either but overcame it by practicing putting in my contact lenses. I wear soft contacts & just have to get the lens to touch my eyeball so it gloms onto it.
Remember you're not sticking something into your eye like a branch or poking at your eye. Think of it as "sliding" the lens onto the surface of your eye.
Look for a good optometrist & let them know you are new to contacts. See if you feel comfortable in that office w/ the staff as they will be showing you how to insert your contacts & take care of them.

Start putting your finger VERY close to your eye. I was the exact same way when I started wearing contacts and I would scream if they tried to even put drops in my eyes. Now I can touch my eye with or without contacts. That probably sounds wierd but I'm so used to coming near my eye I don't even notice it anymore. And they made me look a TON better. Of course so did tennis and eating right, but that helped haha.

For one thing, you look hot with'em, but you could see your beautiful brown eyes better if you had contacts. : ) Anyway, contacts is just something that you get used to with time. I got the ones you leave in for two weeks and I leave'em in for a week and I don't even feel them anymore.

i have contacts and they aren't very hard to put in. it will take some getting use to at first but it will be easy later. just don't think of it as sticking something in your eye. it helps a lot!

well I have tried contacts and it's not that bad. I have tried them twice and ,well, I still have my glasses ): but my problem is that my eyes were not "suited" for contacts. I have 3 older siblings that have contacts and they have no problem with them. as long as you can get them in and out, you'll do fine. you don't really feel them will they are in.
GO FOR IT!!!
