does my friend have attention defecit??

ok so one my friends loves to fake things but she did something so dumb here let me explain: she came to school on monday with a ring on from like the dollar store, and shes like im getting married! (shes 15) and she showed her ring and shes like " my bf goes to providence highschool and like he broke up with his gf and after that he started like dating me" and she starts writing "i love adam" all over her agenda and everything, and then shes like we are getting married when we are 18, and the next day she comes to school and she flips open her cellphone and she shows us a picture of her "bf" but its sooooo obvious that she took a magazine and took pictures from a magazine of a model! and my other friend said yea right you got that from a magazine and she gulps and her face turns red and shes like: "no thats ma man" seriously whats her problem do some girls really do stupid stuff like this?

Just a person thats use to using lies as a way to gain attention from people. Most people try this thru out their social development, but usually a good sense of social conscioness, instilled hopfully from the parents/family, keep us from going all the way. This power lady is dealing with some dangerous emotinal insecurities and is basically doing whatever she can just to get some darn attention. Best thing you guys can do is calling her on it, and tell her to relax, you understand, and that you guys geniunely care enough to investigate more of her background to better understand were she is lossing her social identy, or in short talk to her about being stupid, reminder her it isn't her fault, and explain that you guys don't hate her for it, but if she lies again you'll call her on it everytime. But if you can't do that, leave her alone, don't let her get the opionin that people will ether believe her or not care. Show her that discet won't be tolerated, but give her a warning at first. Next time leave her alone.
