So today I bought two 1.5 qt pot's, small pots, though a decent size for baby tomato's. I put organic soil in to about 4 inches below the rim of the pot. For the "Grape style" tomato's i put the complete package in which i bought at Lowes. It conatined about 15 seeds. then added about an inch or so of soil on top of them. then sprayed the soil with a squirt bottle to moisten the soil. For the "Big Boy" tomato's only put in about 4-6 seeds in a seperate pot. Did everything the same, I now have them placed infront of a window so it can get sunlight during the day, If you could let me know what else I should do, or if I did anything wrong, or even what I should do next, that would be appreciated a lot.
Thanks in advance.

you didn't do anything wrong, but when the seeds sprout to about four inches you're going to have to thin them out the plants will be to close together in that small space even the grape tomatoes will get to be pretty large so be prepare that you will need more pots and be sure to support the plant as it grows so it won't fall over

Hmm. The pots sound too small for adult plants to me. This is how my MIL grows tomatoes (she used to sell them at a Farmer's Market):

First, she starts the seeds about now -- two per small pot (about 2 cups of soil, maybe?). She uses soil that she's sure has never grown any plants of the nightshade family before (she gets it from the forest -- that way it doesn't give plant diseases to the new tomatoes). Then she puts them in the greenhouse and waters them every day.

When the seeds get "true leaves" (not the first two baby leaves), then she cuts off the weakest one. She keeps them warm, receiving lots of sun and waters them regularly, maybe with a little fertilizer until they are about six inches high.

Then she plants them in the greenhouse (you may want to "harden off" your plants if you are planting them outdoors -- if you are keeping them in pots, you'll want to transfer them to BIG pots at this point -- like 5 gallon buckets). She has pre-warmed the soil with black plastic mulch, and cuts a small hole in the mulch and plants the tomatoes in there. She trains them up a series of garden poles (tying them every foot or so), and picks off the little leaves that grow in the "fork" where the leaves branch off.

And then we get tomatoes in August! How delicious!

Good luck!
