Hi my cresty just layed eggs awhile back ago (9wks) and it has (2) little dents in it is it hatching or is it a DEAD egg?Please I really want to know.
( I got my female from Ryan T. at the MI lizard expo)

Most if not all reptile eggs develop dents in them, it should be fine, as long as it's not starting to smell nasty or grow mold, I wouldn't worry about it.

hi both the egg isn't fertile or you want to enhance the humidity on your incubator,attempt putting damp sphagnum moss on proper of the egg it can make it plump up. though I really have considered geckos hatch from a dented egg.remember now to not instruct the eggs because it is going to drown the foetus.

What kind of hatching medium do you have the egg in? It sounds like the egg may be getting too dry.

they usually do. you should cal a local vet though if you are really worried.
