Switchfoot is good. My favorite though is:

Newsboys - Great live in concert and a great message

Some of their best songs:

Who, Joy, Thrive, Breakfast, Live in Stereo, It is you, He Reigns, Wherever we go, I am Free

Other great bands:
Artist(songs)
Hard rock:
Hawk Neslon(The One Thing I Have Left, Bring Em Out)
Broken Yoke(Vapor, Caught in the moment)
Kutless(Strongtower, Hearts of the Innocent)

Rock
Newsboys(Who, Joy, Thrive, Breakfast, Live in Stereo, It is you, He Reigns, Wherever we go, I am Free)
Audio Adrenaline(Hands and Feet and Big House)
Third Day(You are mine)
Casting Crowns(Voice of Truth, Lifesong, Does Anybody Hear Her, Praise You In This Storm)
Building 429(The Space between Us)
Matthew West(Happy, I can’t hear you, Out of my hands)
Downhere(A better way)
RelientK(Two lefts don’t make a right album – forward motion, getting into you, mood rings)

Dude, Switchfoot, haven't listened to them for ages...
I have way too many to list, but The Who come way up on that list, as do Seether.

I love switchfoot! But one of my all time favorites would have to be Aerosmith. I also like Nickelback, Def Leppard, etc.:)

Envy on the Coast and This Providence.
I saw EOTC live, and they were amazing. I met them, also, which was the icing on the cake. =)
I'm going to see This Providence this month, and I can't wait. Check out 'A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing'- it's awesome.
