We have studied three systems involved in the elimination of waste from the body. Explain the systems using the following questions to form your answer. You should be able to answer this in a well-formed paragraph of about eight sentences.

What waste products have to be removed from our bodies?
Which system is specialized for each type?
What specific structures are important for the elimination of these wastes?
How does the body regulate these systems?

Used oxygen, unwanted sugar and salts, digested food and water.Oxygen is used in the lungs and goes into the bloodstream and the used up oxygen is eliminated from the body as carbon dioxide. The body also uses the kidneys with expelling unwanted sugar, salt and water as urine through the bladder and urethra. Once the food we eat has gone through the digestion process through the alimentary canal, the waste is eliminated from the body as fecal material through the rectum.

ok so i took chemistry and my average at the end of the class ended up being a B-, it was really hard for me because im terrible at math and theres a lot of math involved. anatomy/physiology i took last year and i loved it. i got an A. it was really interesting and you learn things that can actually be used and that you'll fine useful throughout life. its always nice to know more about the muscles that might be hurting you, or what causes certain sickness, and so on. i would definitely recommend anatomy/physiology. good luck!

Dunno what you've studied, but basically: waste liquids, waste solids, waste gasses.

Urinary tract eliminates waste liquids.
Bowel eliminates waste solids.
Respiratory system eliminates waste gasses.

Urinary: kidneys, bladder, urethra,
Bowel: duodenum, jejunum, small intestine, colon, gall bladder, common bile duct, pancreas.
Respiratory: diaphragm, lungs, trachea, sinus, nose & mouth

All three are regulated by the limbic system. The urinary tract monitors sodium levels in the blood. The respiratory system monitors carbon dioxide levels in the blood. The bowel just pushes material through.

i would guess one is urine, important structure is the kidneys.
another would be carbon dioxide, eliminated through the lungs.
